I-OM BHRT & Hormone Optimization Certificate Course

I-OM Academy Certificate in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)

A Practical Systems-Medicine Approach to Hormone Evaluation, Prescribing, Monitoring, and Safety

Welcome to the I-OM Academy BHRT Certificate Course.

This 15-module professional certificate course is designed for a mixed health-professional audience, with prescribing clinicians as the primary audience.

The course emphasizes practical clinical reasoning, patient selection, hormone physiology, prescribing logic, monitoring, safety, risk management, and long-term treatment integration.

Practical prescribing and management content applies only within each learner’s lawful professional scope.

The course is U.S.-anchored in its regulatory, labeling, and product examples. International learners should verify local laws, product availability, labeling, professional guidance, and scope-of-practice requirements in their own jurisdiction.

Scope note: Gender-affirming hormone therapy is a distinct clinical field and is outside the primary scope of this certificate course. This scope boundary concerns the specialized hormone-treatment curriculum; it does not place transgender or gender-diverse patients outside the scope of respectful, evidence-based general clinical care.

This is an I-OM Academy professional certificate course. It is not currently accredited for CME/CE credit.

Completion of this course does not confer board certification, specialist status, licensure, expanded scope of practice, or independent prescriptive authority.

What You Will Learn

The course is designed to help learners understand not only which hormones may be considered, but also:
